During its centuries old history, the castle has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, so now the facade of the building is an interesting mix of different architectural styles. Dortmund, as well, is home to a huge variety of museums, worth a visit are the Industrial Museum, and the Brewing Museum where you will find out about the traditional foamy drink.
