Alfaro Spain

Alfaro is a Spanish municipality belonging to the autonomous community of La Rioja (Spain). In the Rioja Baja, being the head of the region in the name and the most extensive municipality of all La Rioja; It is very close to the regional community of Navarre. As of January 1, 2016 we have a population of 9,553 inhabitants according to INE data, being the city with the largest number of inhabitants after Logroño, Calahorra, Arnedo, Haro and Lardero. The Ebro river runs through the north of the municipality, where the Alhama River empties after surrounding Alfaro from the west.
